After the numbers rise high of death related victims through cigarettes in thailand, the ministry of public health announced the new penalties which forces in the law today.
With the starr of today its in thailand illegal to sell or give cigarettes to any person under 20 years and those people which are under 18 cant even sell them anymore.
When you get caught while smoking in Temples, hospitals, educational institutions, zoos, amusement parks and public parks, you will get forced to pay a fine between 2.000Bht up to 5.000Bht!
Also shopes and stores which show ther tobaco products open will gt fined now double, from 20.000Bht to 40.000Bht.
Its also illegal now to advertise tobaco in any form.
So if you light up your cigarett in thailand, ALLWAYS LOOK TWICE BEFORE YOU PAY a 5.000 BAHT FINE!!!!
