Thailand got a New Tax which has passed into the Law

The Brand new excise Tax ceiling rates had beed passed into the law after being published in the royal gazette on Monday morning.

Taxes are set for rates for the next 20 years but are enforcable in the next 180 days.Below you will find some examples of the new ceiling ecise tax rates:

a single cigarett will cost 5 baht more

1 litre of beer will cost 3.000 Baht more

1 litre of soft drink will cost 20 Baht more

1 litre of Disel will cost 20 Baht more

a single service at a massage shop will cost 1.000 Baht more

and a single square meter of space inside a nightclub will coast another 1.000 Baht more.

But Dont brake out now in Panic, because the above is an worst case scenario of the maximum increase over the next 2 decades.

If you ask yourself if you wil feel the tax increae then dont worry, at the end of the year you will feel it, but how I mention already, it will definitely not be the rates from above, Thats for sure.
